my rigs the jeep is a 91 on 33's and is in the shop getting a major face lift and 36 ish shoes The blazer is a pos with 4" lift and 35's might be getting a 68 p/u cab and 3/4 ton axles

an xj in 20"-neary48" of water..... mid december.... never again it froze parts of my body that should always be warm ;D

Right on, We have a shot of my wife's XJ kinda like that. How are you going to get the 36"s under it? We are going to be putting 35"s under her's (Someday)

The easiest way is to but a long arm kit for around $3000 plus another grand in extra parts and service. Of the XJ's the early 90's limited w/ 4.0 h.o. powershift auto is the best for offroad. Myself, I went true blue hillbilly redneck on it. I cut the coil towers out and made new ones based off the bottom of the frame abd built 32" long arms coming off the tranny x member. A basic 3 link style. In the butt it got TJ front coils and 3 link. The fenders are cut with no flares. I shaved about a foot off the rear and moved the fuel tank above the floor. The aproach angle is about 80 degree's with 33" tires. I'll try to get some pics up on photo bucket later.

Awesome! My friend used the Rusty's 8" kit with 36" TSl's it was $1900 shipped. but the axles only last about 2 months. (That was just urban wheelin)

I only use near bald tires on mine so the axles won't snap. I have some scout axles for it but thats way later
